This involves preparation of analysis results for output.

features like titles, scale bars and north arrows placed outside the
map boundary or on a portion of the map.
- Text labels are placed
within the map area and interspersed with the map information.
- Texture patterns and line
styles are used to portray attributes of lines or to distinguish
different types of areas
- Graphic symbols represent
map objects.
