FRAGSTATS

FRAGSTATS has been described as containing the most comprehensive set of indices in a single program.

FRAGSTATS exists for both vector and raster data formats. Both versions contain metrics of area, patch density, size and variability, edge, shape, core area, diversity, contagion and interspersion. The raster version also performs nearest neighbour calculations (McGarigal and Marks, 1994).
