Implementation

Implementation involves considering how to access, use, and update the information in the GIS, how to approach and solve problems, and how to use all the components of the hardware and software. A strategic plan can be drawn up to cover these issues and others including further system development, start up, and the creation of the database. Once this is complete the user can then go ahead and start to create the GIS.

Once the GIS has been set up the user can move on to doing some spatial analysis and generating output.
