The information for the crocodile database is all projected using the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), for Zone 52 (this is the UTM zone that contains Darwin).

The AUSLIG GEODATA exists at a scale of 1:250000 and LANDSAT™ data exists at a resolution of 30m.

The information used in this project is managed in ArcView, ArcInfo and Excel formats, and coding was used that fits with standards decided upon between CDU and Wildlife Management International.
