Functions required

To enhance conservation and management of the saltwater crocodile, spatial analysis would be used to determine the best habitat for crocodile nesting sites in the Northern Territory. The aims also involved the development of a set of optimum techniques for enhancing habitat identification, with the objective of producing a saltwater crocodile nesting habitat map which identifies existing and new nesting areas.

With these desired outputs from the GIS identified it is then necessary to identify the processes or operations which need to be performed on the data to generate these outputs.

For this case, editing functions, data update capabilities, some classification and measurement functions, overlay capabilities and neighbourhood functions, as well as some output functions are required.
