750 word discussion on the article by Langton (1996), 'The European
Construction of Wilderness'
The aim of this assignment is to get you thinking about the different
points of view regarding 'wilderness' and to begin to consider the
potential of a range of varying points of view and the way they
complement or clash with each other.
After reading the article by Marcia Langton (1996) 'The European
Construction of Wilderness' and discussing it with the other students
on the on-line tutorial discussion, you need to write a short response
paper outlining:
- the major points Langton is trying to make;
- your considered opinion of these points with some back-up or
substantiation for the points you make from your wider reading.
Please make sure that you have properly referenced all the materials
you have used and include a bibliography with this assignment.
