Week 12
Many of the resources you have already read relate to this topic. This reflects the fact that it is impossible to separate ethical issues from engagement methodologies and planning.
Other examples of ethics protocols
- Your ethics protocol will be tailored to a specific application
you have in mind.
However it may be useful to review other protocols or similar documents.
1. Review examples of protocols either listed below or from sources
you have identified.
2. Review the guidelines for Assignment 4.
3. Start work on the structure outline for your ethics protocol for
community engagement.

Unit evaluation
- As this is a new unit, and in the spirit of openness and democracy, we would like your feedback on the unit, its usefulness to your practice and your recommendations for improvement. This will help to improve the unit for future offerings.
- Please feel free to provide feedback on the unit to the Discussion board provided for this purpose. We very much appreciate you taking the time to briefly list (a) the things you felt were the strengths of this unit, and (b) things that could be changed or imporved for future offerings.
Note that we will also formally evaluate this unit using standard University instruments.
