Fire is a very emotive issue right across Australia and everyone has an opinion about fire. Differences in the way people view and think about fire and burning can be very great.

In particular there is concern and debate over the best way to manage fire. Fire management presents a complex issue — people may have opposing views on fire for same area of land.
