Student Assignments

Below are the beginnings of a collection of student websites created during studies in Contested Knowledges. Some students are keen for their assignments to be added to the site, while others are a bit shy (I think). Here are some that have been developed in recent years.

How language changes knowledge and constructs reality

This assignment was written by Keith Thomas-Wurth. He has reshaped the template to fit his own needs and clearly knows a thing or two about developing websites.  Don't let this put you off, you don't have to be a whiz a html to make the template work.

You can find Keith's assignment on Language here.

Contested Knowledges and the use of fire in Top End land management

Don Duggan, as student in the Diploma of Resource Management completed this website as part of his work for CRS100. Don has also reshaped the template slightly to make it work for him.

Don's assignment on Fire and Land Management can be found here.

Crossing Over: Water Resource Management and Contested Knowledges

Dave Hardy is another student in the Resource Management degree who has completed his web page assignment based on some work he was doing with his employer. I think Dave created his own site from scratch.

His assignment on Water Resource Management can be found here.

Crossing Over: Water Resource Management and Contested Knowledges

Anthony Moore was a student in Contested Knowledges in 2007.  He completed his assignment on fire and has done an excellent job of capturing the ideas and developing his website from scratch too.

His assignment on Fire and Land Management can be found here.
