Internet Explorer
Click 'Tools' on the browser menu
Select 'Internet Options'
Click on 'Security' tab
Click 'Custom Level'
Under the listing for 'Scripting', make sure 'Active scripting' is set to 'Enable'.
Click OK
Click OK once more
Firefox
On the Browser menu, click Tools
Select Options
In the Options Window,select the Content panel.
Ensure there is a check next to 'enable JavaScript'
Click OK
Mac
Firefox
Click Tools on the browser window.
Select 'Preferences'.
Select 'Content' in the 'Category' window.
Ensure the checkbox for 'Enable JavaScript'
Click 'OK'.
Safari
Click on the Safari menu.
Select Preferences.
Click the Security icon.
Click on Enable JavaScript next to the Web Content section if it is not checked, then click 'OK'.
Once you have followed the steps above you can refresh this page to check if Javascript is enabled.

Download Java Runtime
Check if you have Java installed on you computer. If you do not, visit the SUN Microsystems Java download page and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
If you do have java installed but does not appear to be working in your web browser check that your web browsers has Java enabled.
To enable Java:
PC
Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9
Select 'Tools' on the browser menu
Select 'Internet Options '
Click the 'Security' tab
Select 'Custom level for this zone'
Scroll down to Scripting of Java applets
Ensure that the Enable radio button is checked. Select 'OK'
You may need to re-start your browser
Firefox
Select the 'Firefox button' or 'Tools' on the browser menu, then Add-ons
In the Add-ons Manager tab, select Plugins
Click Java(TM) Platform plugin to select it
Click on the Enable button (if the button says Disable, Java is already enabled)
Chrome
Click on the wrench icon, then select Options
Select 'Under the Hood ' and then 'Privacy', 'Content Settings'.The Content Settings panel will appear
In the Plug-ins section, select the 'Disable individual plug plug-ins link to check whether Java is enabled.
Click on the Enable link (if the Disable link appears, Java is already enabled)

Select 'Edit' on the browser menu
Select 'Preferences' then 'Advanced'
Ensure the Enable Java checkbox is selected
Select 'OK'
Safari
Click on the 'Safari' menu and select Preferences

If Flash is working correctly, you should see a flashing success message to the left.
