Illustrations
The illustrations are by a Yolngu artist, Wadaymu, who is now deceased. Wadaymu was a Ŋaymil man from the Dhaŋu language group. He lived much of his life at Galiwin'ku where he was actively involved in all areas of ceremonial and educational life. He spent many years working at the school as an artist and teaching yolngu culture; spearmaking, barkpainting, singing and dancing. He was an exceptional artist, singer, dancer and composer of songs.
