Ejournal

In this unit there is an ejournal created in Microsoft Word that you can use to note all your ideas and thoughts as you work through the materials presented.

Use of the ejournal
Throughout the topics in this unit this icon is used
ejournalejournal
When this icon appears it usually means you will be asked to do some writing. To enable you to keep your ideas together put all the writing in the ejournal. The ejounal also contains the space and structure for you to complete the activities that will assist you to complete this unit's assessment items.

The ejournal can be downloaded and used in a number of ways

  • print and use as a notebook
  • use electronically on your hard drive/floppy disk to record your notes (saving each time you use it).

Downloading Instructions
To put the ejournal onto your hard drive or floppy disk, follow the steps below:

  • decide which file type you would like to work from (pdf or word)
  • click on the "download" link (below) for that format
  • save the file to your hard drive or to a floppy disk
  • double click on the file name once it is downloaded to open it up in Microsoft Word or Acrobat Reader or alternatively open the application first and select file, open using your mouse
  • Download Word file (32k)
  • Download PDF file (24k).

Word or pdf format?
The Word file can be opened and edited in Microsoft Word. This allows you to change the file while working through the study material directly on your hard drive or floppy disk.
The PDF file can be opened and read with Acrobat Reader. You cannot make changes electronically but you can print it out and use it as a notebook. You can download Acrobat Reader if you don't have it on your computer. The PDF file is relatively smaller in file size than the word file.
