In this module we examine the Indigenous art of three distinct regions in Northern Australia.
Each of these regions has its own identifiable style and individual artists and the art forms from each region can be located in a particular historical context.
This module examines the traditional art forms associated with each region: rock art, artefacts and fibrework and the emergence of a contemporary artistic expression.
