The Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ascilite) is a society for those involved in tertiary computer-based education and training, including educational interactive multimedia. It provides a forum to stimulate discussion of relevant issues in the educational use of technology, as well as promoting research and evaluation.

ascilite holds an Annual Conference and promotes co-operation and liaison with other groups and organisations which have complementary aims.

Australian Council on Open, Distance and e-learning (ACODE)

ACODE seeks to influence policy and practice at institutional, national and international levels through:

 Designing e-learning is an initiative of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. The site shows the many ways you can use e-learning to engage learners, provide flexibility and improve quality in vocational education and training (VET). It can be used as an individual guide, or as a resource for professional development and training sessions.  This site has four sections:

Handbook of Emerging Technologies for Learning. This Handbook of Emerging Technologies for Learning (HETL) from the University of Manitoba has been designed as a resource for educators planning to incorporate technologies in their teaching and learning activities.
