Grey literature

Grey literature is defined as material which is unpublished or not available in commercial form, such as reports, conference papers, theses, newsletters and so on. It is often a source of up-to-date material but not accessible through conventional channels. Increasingly grey literature is accessible through the internet as well as through institutional repositories.

For more detailed information see:

Institutional repositories

Institutional repositories are a good source of grey literature. They provide open access to an institution’s research outputs and provide a further source of information.

Check out eSpace, the CDU Institutional repository:

Also see Trove: http://trove.nla.gov.au/ that searches simultaneously across the contents of Australian university and government research repositories in addition to several other collections of Australian research.
