John, Yiŋiya and Steph, one of the students, travelled to Gapuwiyak via Badaypaday, with the satellite terminal we hired from Carcom, Yiŋiya was keen to teach from Badaypaday because that’s where his turtle hunting ancestors lived when the sea level was high, but the battery was flat. They used the wireless modem because they were close to a telecom tower, however the connections were pretty poor.
