Introduction
The purpose of this Introduction is to familiarise you with the aims, scope and structure of Northern Perspectives and to provide you with some background thinking about the way to approach the materials in the unit. We want you to be able to critically evaluate the knowledge and information you gain from this unit and so we introduce you to a framework for analysing the different perspectives of place, people and politics that are part of the landscapes of the north.
